Hotel Indigo Dubai Downtown

I have to say it - but this hotel is one of my favourite hotels in the world. Just everything about the Hotel Indigo Dubai Downtown is perfect. I'm as you will know a big fan of the Indigo brand from IHG. I've stayed at a number of them and another one of my favourites is Hotel Indigo Bath. But the Hotel Indigo Dubai Downtown tops this in every way. It's my must go to hotel in Dubai when I stay in the city and for everything that it has to offer there isn't much more that it has to offer.

Nestled amidst the towering skyscrapers and bustling streets, this boutique hotel offers a tranquil oasis that provides the perfect escape from the city's hustle and bustle but also close enough to the main Dubai Mall and places like the Burj Khalifa.

Arrival and Check-In:

From the moment I stepped out of the taxi at Hotel Indigo Downtown Dubai, I was greeted with warm smiles and impeccable service. The hotel's entrance, adorned with stylish and modern design, sets the tone for what awaits inside.

The check-in process was swift and hassle-free. The friendly staff at the reception desk made me feel welcomed, and indeed the nicest touch they recognised that I had stayed at the hotel before - and welcomed me back. It's those features that really make a difference after a 7 hour flight.

Hotel Indigo Downtown Dubai offers a variety of room types to suit different preferences, and I had the pleasure of staying in a King Deluxe Room. As soon as I entered the room, I was struck by its contemporary design and attention to detail. The room was tastefully decorated with a blend of modern and traditional elements that reflected the city's rich heritage.

The king-sized bed was incredibly comfortable, and the plush pillows ensured a restful night's sleep. The room also featured a spacious work desk, a cozy seating area, and a large flat-screen TV. But what truly stole the show was the breathtaking view of the Dubai harbour through the floor-to-ceiling windows. Opening the electric curtains every morning to see the the tower blocks, the harbour and desert in the distance really is something special. .

The bathroom was equally impressive, with a rain shower, luxurious bath products, and fluffy towels. It's the little details, like the mosaic tiles, brushed gold taps and soft lighting, that added to the overall charm of the room.

The breakfast buffet was a highlight of my mornings. The selection was extensive, featuring a variety of fresh fruits, pastries, cereals, and hot dishes. The ambiance in the restaurant was relaxed and inviting, making it a perfect spot to start the day.

Although I didn't eat for For dinner, it's possible to use the restaurant and whether you're a fan of traditional Arabic dishes or international cuisine, the restaurant has something to please every palate.

One of the standout features of Hotel Indigo Downtown Dubai is the rooftop pool and bar. After a busy day of meetings across the city, it's possible to pop down to the hotel bar area and enjoy a nice cooling and refreshing drink after work. The pool area offers great views of the city skyline, during the day it serves bar food which can be taken whilst you sit and relax in the pool area and soak up the rays!

The hotel also boasts a well-equipped fitness centre for those who like to stay active during their travels. The state-of-the-art equipment and spacious workout area were much appreciated.

Hotel Indigo Downtown Dubai's location is brilliant. It's situated in the heart of the city, making it convenient to explore some of Dubai's most iconic attractions. The Dubai Mall, home to the world-famous Burj Khalifa and countless shopping and dining options, is just a short walk away.

From the friendly concierge who provided valuable tips for exploring the city to the housekeeping team that kept my room immaculate, everyone I encountered was dedicated to making my stay comfortable and enjoyable.

Hotel Indigo Downtown Dubai is just a brilliant hotel. It's a hidden gem in the heart of the city, offering a tranquil retreat that contrasts beautifully with the vibrant energy of Dubai. The combination of stylish design (and I just love the smell of the corridors - I wish I could bottle it), impeccable service, and a prime location makes it the perfect choice for both business and leisure travellers.

Whether you're sipping cocktails by the rooftop pool, or simply enjoying the stunning views from your room, Hotel Indigo Downtown Dubai provides a relaxed and luxurious experience that will leave you with lasting memories of your stay in this incredible city.
