Great fun this evening at my first @dodgers game! Giving everything that #losangeles and the #usa has to offer a try! Great win for the #dodgers! Tried the food, got some merch, bought a drink and tried to say out of the sun! It was a hot one out there! Only Downside was taking an hour to get out of the stadium! What an enjoyable night though!

Join me at the @f1exhibition @excellondon! What a great couple of hours this was exploring @f1 history. Even as a self confessed F1 geek there was still lots to see and do. If you’re just a casual fan there is a lot of facts and figures that will give you more of an understanding about the sport. Lots to like from the cars, bits of history and the Grosjean Hass which is shown at the end of the exhibition. Personal headsets allow you to listen to clips in your own time or speed. Also numbers are limited which never made the whole time feel cramped when exploring. Make sure you catch it until the end of December!

So PLASA show on Sunday and Monday will be my last days in the UK for a little while….
I’m excited to announce, that from Thursday 5th September, I will be working out of our global HQ in Los Angeles until the end of December 2024, working on a number of different projects for the business. This will allow me to spend time with our wider group Senior Leadership on the development of the Martin brand globally along with other things. Will be a great opportunity for me personally and professionally.
I will be at PLASA Sunday/Monday so looking forward to catching up with many EMEA customers before I head off. And of course if you find yourself in LA please do let me know as it would be great to catch up!

A brilliant afternoon @f1exhibition! As a @f1 geek the exhibition had a mix of everything. From the history from the 1950’s right through to the modern day stuff. And even as someone who knows the sport so well there was stuff I learnt as well! It was so beautifully done and had some really cool exhibits. I think as a first time fan or certainly one from the #drivetosurvive generation you would learn so much about the sport as well. It’s on till December @excellondon so make sure you get your tickets!

What an incredible day at the Silverstone Festival! The passion for cars and motorsport was absolutely unmatched. From the roar of the engines to the wide range of classic cars there was just so much to see. The atmosphere was electric, with fans from all over coming together to celebrate the love of racing. This weekend @circuit_spa_francorchamps @f1 Grand Prix weekend was nothing short of spectacular (even if I did get soaked!! A proper #bucketlist trip ticked off! The iconic #SpaFrancorchamps circuit delivered thrilling action and unforgettable moments. Fans were treated to incredible racing under changing weather conditions, with drivers pushing the limits on this challenging track. The atmosphere was electric, with passionate fans cheering on their favorite teams and drivers. #georgerussell was unlucky to not win the race after his disqualification but the race was unpredictable and we didn’t know where anyone was going finish. The perfect motorraceThe Spa Grand Prix once again proved why it’s one of the best races on the calendar.

Route 66 Texas is an odd one. Obviously in the USA it's one of the biggest states but apart from Route 66 Kansas it's the second shortest part of the route. It's also got a few towns (with the main one being Amerillo) that you go through. However unlike other states there is very little in between. The other main point for Route 66 Texas is that you have hit the half way point in the journey! It's hard to believe that this is the case because the gaps between the things in California get bigger. You certainly feel at times that you've seen more on the trip in the states of Illinois and Missouri. Anyway what does Route 66 Texas have to offer?! Read on to find out.

As a person from the UK Oklahoma has one thing in my memory which is the tragic bombing of 20+ years ago. We paid a visit to the site which I'll talk about below. After leaving the smallest state in Kansas Route 66 we head to Route 66 Oklahoma! It was really noticable to see how the states were different. This sounds like an odd statement I know to make but in the way of the towns, the make up of the farm land and just what you saw. As you move further West on the route you see how each different state treats Route 66 and what they have as important. Oklahoma is no different to this. As the famous song goes "Oklahoma, where the wind comes sweepin' down the plain" and I really felt that I noticed this that things were more spread out and there was more farming in the state than perhaps than we had seen before. If you've not read about Illinois or Missouri you can read about these parts of the route from the Route 66 master page. We now enter into Kansas. Kansas is the smallest of the Route 66 states and if you didn't stop you could drive it in 10 minutes. However there is lots of reasons to stop! If you've ever seen the Disney film franchise Cars the town of Radiator Springs has had a large amount of influence of both Galena and Baxter Springs. These are the 2 towns you'll drive through in Kansas.
