Caught my first American football game with the @rams , and wow—what an experience that was! The stadium was buzzing, with energy that I wasn’t expecting. Some 80,000 fans chanting and enjoying the game. This wasn’t just a game; it was a full-on experience that many fans spend hours enjoying. You can see why it’s such a popular sport over here. Watching football on TV doesn’t come close to being there live. Now, I totally get why they call it game day magic. Safe to say, it was a unique experience for sure!! 💙💛

Realised that I missed the one month anniversary of being here in #losangeles. Some days it feels like I have been here months and months. Other days feels like I have only been here a week. It’s been a lot of hard work with meetings most day from 6am (some 5.30) right through to 6/7pm. Lots to take in, lots to work on, and lots to drive forward. Of course though I have tried to do a lot of things along side that to make the time here enjoyable at evenings and weekends. Having been to a couple of @dodgers games, a @lafc game, the @petersenmuseum, @indycar as well as a bit closer to home the @santamonicapier. I have been made to feel so welcome by colleagues and friends. Got a few days in Vegas coming up, some @nascar and then hopefully will catch @lakers game. It’s been an utterly amazing experience being here and just grateful to be given the opportunity by my company to do this, even for a couple of months…

Second part of my weekend was @nashvillesuperspeedway for the @indycar championship final which saw @alexpalou crowned a 3 time champion in the series. Having also done the @indianapolismotorspeedway #indy500 this year it was great to see another race! Also got myself paddock pass and it’s such good value to be able to get up close to all the teams, cars and drivers. #indycar for me really is the best value and exciting racing on the planet!

36 hours in Nashville. Was meant to watching the baseball @nashvillesounds but sadly the weather got the better of the match. Then onto the @nashvillesuperspeedway on the Sunday for a full on day of @indycar racing and to see the end of the season! So tired at the end of the busy weekend but was great weekend away!

So how do I sum up the Volkswagen Golf GTD. Let's put it like this. I've only once bought a suit from Marks and Spencer. It was 1994 and I was 14, my Mother thought that was the place to get suit's from. Ever since that day I've never bought a suit from the place again. It's just that M and S are just, well you know, yes that. You can't really sum them up as a luxury designer brand. It's that sort of thing like the Ronseal add. It does what it say's on the tin. This was my same view about the Volkswagen Golf. Volkswagen's famous 1987 advert of the woman leaving her husband with the tag line of "if everything was as reliable as a Golf" followed…
The Ford Ka+ is the new Supermini from Ford. Although the original Ka was launchd back in the mid 90’s the market segment has moved on a long way from the small 3 door models that rivalled supermarket trollies. Not only as customers have we come to expect better standards of quality in our motorcars, but as the cars have been getting bigger so has the market with more players from the likes of Kia, Hyundai and even the Dacia’s of this world coming in with commendable contenders.
