Life was super busy (and that's not changed at ALL) and I think that I was just suffering from blogging burn out. Anyone who reads my blog or follows me on social media channels will know I'm a petrol head. I've done a number of posts of my dream cars and also some of the amazing things like the Indy 500. In the heart of the UK is Motoring history. Lots of the historical car manufacturing took place here, and the likes of Jaguar Land Rover and Aston Martin have their modern day bases here. Also situated here is the British Motor Museum. The British Motor Museum is home to the world’s largest collection of historic British Cars; it boasts nearly 300 cars in its collection which span the classic, vintage and veteran eras. Just before xmas we headed off to Lapland Silverstone. For me (and anyone who knows me) I'm a massive petrol head. The fact that we did Route 66, Indy 500, and multiple other race events should give you this clue! So for the ability to take our own car onto the world famous Silverstone Race Circuit was something that we couldn't turn down. I've spent my life around lighting and doing events. I don't talk about it much on the blog.However it's a big part of my life and even when I'm on the day "off" I don't mind spending my time looking at lighting either! So when I was asked by my old company if I wanted to see what they had been up to in the run up to Xmas at RHS Wisley Glow 2020 event I jumped at the chance. I guess it's been every kids dream at some point to be a pilot. I think mine was about aged 8 when I was fascinated by the old World War 2 planes and wanted to know how to fly a Spitfire. Obviously as you grow up you go through phases in life and mine passed quite quickly. Millions of travellers daily use the London tube network. What millions of travellers perhaps don't realise is the many different tunnels, dissused stations, branch lines and other bit's and pieces of the network still exist. Many of which for one reason or another are now either blocked up, not in use or just left derelict.
